Guest Facilities

We host our guests in a newly renovated adobe building out at May Camp, close to one of the cowboys and his family. There are two rooms available for guests and both have one double bed and a set of bunks.  There is one bathroom that is shared between the two rooms, as well as a full kitchen/sitting room.  A washer and dryer are available in the kitchen/sitting room. Fresh towels available throughout the week and maid service is provided if staying more than one week. It is very peaceful and quiet at May Camp and on a clear night, tons of stars can be seen from the screened in porch or from outside around the fire pit.

Right above the bunkhouse is a spring-fed lake and wetland that is home to a large number of waterfowl and great for warm water fishing and swimming.  Also, a place for sketching or for writing or perhaps just enjoying an afternoon siesta in the shade.  This is only a short walk/hike from the bunkhouse.  There is also Chico Creek that runs below the house.  This is a great place to see lots of wildlife as you are hiking along the creek bed.  Much of the ranch's diverse wildlife calls this area home:  mule and white-tailed deer frequent the wooded area along the creek, coyotes howl in the pastures, and birds find shelter and nesting areas in the trees.
