Welcome!

We're thrilled you are considering a visit with us.  If you are ready to make a reservation at this time you may do so by Contacting Guest services by phone: (719) 683-7960 or toll free: 1-888-592-7282 or by email: guest@chicobasinranch.com to inquire about available dates and activities. Your reservation will be confirmed once your 50% deposit is received by our office.  An orientation packet will follow in the mail with additional information which will help you prepare for your arrival.

Airports

There are two area airports to consider when flying into Colorado for a visit with us -Denver International Airport, and our local Colorado Springs Airport.

The Denver is approximately an hour from Colorado Springs.  Some of our guests have found it cheaper to fly into Denver and then rent a car for the day and drive themselves the hour to hour and a half to Colorado Springs rather than purchasing connecting flights into Denver.  Air flights are always changing as you know so please consider all your options.

We can arrange round trip transportation from the Colorado Springs airport for a round trip charge of $50.00 each way.

Directions if arriving by car from Colorado Springs:

1. Take I-25 heading south (towards Pueblo)
2. Exit 122 (Pikes Peak International Speedway)
3. Follow the frontage road (north) approximately 1 mile
4. Turn right (east) on Hannover Road
5. Follow the road 12 - 15 miles to a stop sign
6. Turn right at the stop sign onto a dirt road
7. Travel approximately 1 mile until you reach the Chico Basin Ranch sign
8. Continue on the MAIN road for 4 - 5 miles (do not turn off on any side roads)
9. Turn into headquarters and the office is the first small building

Policies

Payment Policy

Rates are all inclusive: taxes and service charges. We do not include gratuities as we feel it is best left to the discretion of the guest.
However, 15% is industry standard and always appreciated by our hardworking staff! A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due the day you arrive at the Ranch.

Cancellation Policy

Because of the time, energy and effort required in preparing for your visit, cancellations received 30 days or more in advance of your arrival date will receive a 75% refund, unless otherwise stated. No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 30 days notice prior to a confirmed arrival date. In situations where reservations must be cancelled, we encourage you to reschedule your visit, rather than cancel completely. There is no penalty for rescheduling your visit.

Liability Policy

Chico Basin Ranch cannot assume any responsibility for accidents whether caused by you, the horse, equipment, guide or other persons while at the Chico Basin Ranch. You ride and travel at your own risk.

Alcoholic Beverage Policy

Chico Basin Ranch is not licensed to serve alcoholic beverages; however, you are invited to bring your own spirits and alcohol and serve yourself.
